Dan and Courtney's fall wedding on Nantucket unfolded under the clear golden light of a New England autumn, a coastal celebration that doubled as a love letter to the island. Their story started over drinks at a neighborhood bar in Portland and led to a surprise proposal on the shores of Key Largo, and they wanted the wedding itself to feel like the quintessential Nantucket experience, a vision brought to life by Brilliant Event Planning alongside Milly and Grace Weddings.

The day was full of personal touches, including a celebratory parade through the streets and custom wallpaper featuring their dog, Wilson, plus a fresh oyster bar and the island's sunset cannon marking the hour. Courtney wore a Monique Lhuillier gown with three-dimensional lace, and Rebecca Love Photography and Captivate Films followed the couple out through the beach grasses to capture it, blooms by The Wild Dahlia carrying a palette of cyan, blue, beige, and kelly green throughout.
