Abigail and David's Chatham Bars Inn wedding on Cape Cod is coastal romance at its most elevated, held at the oceanfront resort where Abigail had summered with her family since childhood and had decided, at age eight, she would one day get married.

The two met in fifth-grade homeroom, dated on and off through middle school, found their way back to each other before senior year, and got engaged a decade later on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade where they had spent so many mornings walking with coffee. Planner Tasha Bracken Events and floral designer Beach Plum Floral built the day around a muted palette of blue, white, green, and tan, with sandy waterfront vows framed by generous arrangements in woven baskets and a Sperry sailcloth tent filled with raffia accents, textured linen, and petite centerpieces.

Abigail wore a custom Mira Zwillinger ballgown made in ivory, and the details leaned all the way into New England summer, a lobster bake at the rehearsal dinner, oysters at cocktail hour, Aperol spritzes and Dirty Shirleys, a cake covered in green anthurium and hydrangeas, and an escort card display reading "About Shucking Time." Most meaningful of all, the ceremony was officiated by the reverend of David's late grandmother, a quiet way of keeping her present.
